What adapts in CPAPass today
Quick practice can weight topics using performance already stored in your account while prioritizing questions you have not seen. Dedicated Weakness Drill mode focuses on weaker topics when enough history exists.
For supported practice modes, completed-session history can influence the preferred difficulty. A new account begins without that evidence, so personalization becomes more useful only after you answer questions.
Practice results can describe several observed patterns, but those result labels are not all inputs to future question selection.

What adaptive does not mean here
CPAPass does not claim that a five-question public set creates a readiness score or instantly changes the next question. The reviewed selection contract is based mainly on topic performance, prior exposure, and completed-session history.
The result view may discuss trap type, question style, skill level, complexity, topic, and timing. Those are internal practice observations, not an official CPA Exam score or a promise that every category drives the next set.

Access and account boundary
An account is required because topic-aware practice depends on saved attempts and section context. After signup, choose your CPA Exam section inside CPAPass; a choice in free public practice is not carried into onboarding.
New accounts receive a five-day trial for normal practice and Weakness Drill. After the trial, Weakness Drill requires an eligible subscription or section bundle. Mock exams require permanent section access and are excluded from the trial.

If no performance history exists, Weakness Drill falls back to quick selection. That is a safer starting point than inventing a weakness from a five-question public set.

A practical first session
Choose the section you are actively studying, complete a normal practice set, and review the explanation for every miss. A later set can then use actual topic evidence instead of a self-reported guess.

Quick practice and Weakness Drill are different modes
Quick practice can use topic performance while prioritizing unseen questions. Weakness Drill is a separate mode available during the active trial and with eligible subscription or section-bundle access afterward.
If there is not enough history for a weakness target, the product falls back to quick selection instead of inventing a weak area.
Personalization remains section-scoped
AUD, FAR, REG, BAR, ISC, and TCP are all available as section contexts, but an authenticated practice session uses the active section in the account rather than mixing all six.
Choose the current section again inside CPAPass after signup. The public selector does not persist through onboarding.
